Sebastian Kwaśny

Ambassador of digital philately · Collector · Lecturer at SGH postgraduate studies · Investor

What began as an interest in crypto assets, and later in the global development of crypto stamp issues, became my hobby — and grew into a passion.

For nearly seven years I have supported educational publications and have lectured at the SGH postgraduate blockchain studies. I share experience gained from more than 30 years working in modern technologies and investing on the capital market.

In 2025 I received the "Hero of Cryptophilately" award, granted by the Polish Cryptophilatelists Association for outstanding achievements in the development of digital philately.

Reviews

What do experts say?

This book arrives at a decisive moment in the development of contemporary philately. In the book Sebastian examines with clarity and intellectual discipline the emergence of digital philately and crypto stamps within the wider transformations brought by blockchain and Web3. What makes this work especially valuable, in my view, is its balance between scholarly rigor and genuine philatelic conviction. Having followed these developments closely myself, I recognize in these pages both serious research and authentic engagement. This publication is an important contribution to an evolving field and deserves wide international attention.

Combines the story of an investor and enthusiast about a new phenomenon with a 'chronicle-atlas' — a compilation of all the world's digital stamp issues. Not just documentation, but an invitation to further discovery.
Dr Grzegorz Sobiecki

Focuses on philately and shows its remarkable journey into the world of blockchain. Explains in an accessible way how a paper stamp is being replaced by a unique token. An inspiring read.

I constantly seek new, non-obvious asset classes. This book is a perfect example of how a hundred-year-old tradition seamlessly merges with modern Web3 technology. For philatelists, blockchain enthusiasts and investors looking for diversification — required reading.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

For several reasons. First, I always wanted to write and publish such a work. Second, the book describes my passion, which I found in the world of Web3 — a passion for crypto stamps, and really for the entire field of digital philately as an extension of my childhood passion for collecting stamps. I wrote it because I wanted to do something more for the new industry and new inventions on the border of tradition, history and technology — for the entire community gathered around this phenomenon, so it can unite, grow and look to the future.
